So 4 is our answer.<\/code><\/pre>\n<h3>Solving Approach :<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Observation:<\/strong> We can see that size of array can go from 1 to <code>10<\/code><sup>6<\/sup>, in worse conditions let the size of the array be  <code>10<\/code><sup>6<\/sup> if we sort this array using any of sorting techniques i.e. <em>Bubble Sort, Insertion Sort, Selection sort<\/em>. They all take O(<code>N<\/code><sup>2<\/sup>) in worst cases, which results in <code>10<\/code><sup>12<\/sup> iterations when the size of the array is <code>10<\/code><sup>6<\/sup>. So we, can&#8217;t choose the above three sorting algorithms. We use <strong><em>Merge Sort<\/em><\/strong> to sort array as it sorts array in <strong><em>linearithmic time complexity<\/em><\/strong> (<code>N x log(N)<\/code>) where N is size of array.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<ul>\n<li>We make a duplicate array, which will be sorted.
