Last Updated on July 7, 2022 by Ria Pathak

The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. is a leading global investment banking, securities, and investment management organization that serves a large and diverse customer base of corporations, financial institutions, governments, and individuals.

Goldman Sachs is estimated to admit only three to four percent of all job applications. To put it mildly, the application procedure is competitive. But with proper training and learning resources like we have in our Zenith Placement Programs, you can ace the job interview in a jiffy.

Ways To Get Into Goldman Sachs

On-campus

Goldman Sachs, India recruits students on campus (both engineering and non-engineering) across the country, offering both internships and full-time positions. This, among the others, is unquestionably the simplest way to get in.

Official Website

Another alternative is to apply for a job at Goldman Sachs via the company’s website. They do look over the applications and contact you if they deem you to be a suitable fit.

Referral Program

There is a third option for obtaining referrals from existing employees for open positions. For referrals, one can always contact the personnel there. A reference allows you to skip the queue and assures that your resume is at least manually screened. And if you end up impressing the recruiter, you’ll be invited to take the test and land a job at your ideal company.

Goldman Sachs Eligibility Criteria

Telephonic Round

As the name suggests, this round takes place over the phone wherein the interviewer asks the candidates all the technical questions. The questions will mostly revolve around the concepts required for the job they are applying for, basic programming logic, system design, and algorithms.

Technical Rounds

These will be face-to-face rounds wherein the interviewer begins by thoroughly going through your CV and asking questions about the projects and experiences you have mentioned there. You might want to make sure that you are fully aware of everything you have talked about in the CV in a detailed manner. Apart from this, technical questions are asked from topics like DS & Algo, OS, Computer Networks, DBMS, etc. Make sure that you revise these concepts thoroughly before heading out to this interview. You may also be expected to write codes or explain the logic in these interviews.

HR Round

You will be asked the standard HR questions in this round. From the introduction to your educational qualifications to the family background to long-term goals. Prepare what you are going to say if such questions arise and try to answer them confidently.
